I have been using the Loy Yang model a lot recently to compare model results with past mine performance and to analyze the effect of a number of variables on future operations. ie: Coal demand, Manning levels,Digging rates, Bunker maximum level, Face configurations for various time periods. The results achieved have been in accordance with expectations and are providing a reasonable basis for comparison of the various options.….”
